Wednesday Club

St Bernadette's Wednesday  Club is a youth group which caters for teenagers and young adults with additional support needs. We meet on Wednesdays during term time in Logans Primary School, from 7pm until 9pm. Occasionally, we arrange outings; recent highlights include going bowling at M & D's and going to see the Christmas lights in Glasgow. Our volunteers and young people have great fun each week, taking part in a wide variety of activities including arts & crafts, sports, games, music and more! We have previously welcomed many groups to the club and encouraged interaction: we have had Line Dancers and Irish Dancers, Animal Man and drumming groups to name but a few.

Our former priest, Fr Stephen Reilly, established the group 10 years ago as a continuation of his HCPT  journey.  He set up a weekly group in the vicinity of his parish that would open opportunities to support the children and their families in the area, creating a social environment with the support of young volunteers. 

Our group depends on fundraising to help support costs.
